Men's Ministry Hosts Heartwarming Mother's Day Breakfast and Luncheon
On Sabbath, May 11, the Men's Ministry of the Three Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church came together to honor the mothers of our congregation with a heartfelt and meticulously planned Mother's Day Breakfast and Luncheon. This special event, brimming with love and appreciation, was a testament to the deep respect and gratitude the men of our church hold for the mothers in our community.
The day began with a delightful breakfast in the fellowship hall, which was beautifully decorated with Mother's Day themed ornaments and tableware, along with a huge banner to show our moms just how much they are loved! The aroma of hot breakfast, which included biscuits and gravy, egg casserole, tater tots, and fresh fruit, with a delicious fruit salad and assorted juices. The men, led by Pastor Anthony Crawford, took on the roles of chefs and servers, donning aprons and broad smiles as they served the moms for breakfast.
After service, the men hurried back to the fellowship hall where a scrumptious Italian meal was prepared, which included spaghetti, with both marinara and alfredo sauce, garlic bread, salad, and lemonade. In closing, Pastor Anthony Crawford offered a prayer of thanks, blessing the mothers and expressing gratitude for the efforts of the Men's Ministry. He emphasized the importance of recognizing and valuing the contributions of mothers, not just on Mother’s Day, but every day.
